Why I started writing poems.

Welcome to my blog.

I’ve always believed that poetry has a quiet way of saying what we sometimes can’t. A few years back, I found myself picking up a pen and letting thoughts pour out. At first, they were just thoughts… but they turned into poems. Some were about growing up country, some about loss, love, or faith. Some were just plain fun.

I didn’t set out to become a poet — I just followed the rhythm of life, and words came with it. Now I’ve written over a hundred, and this blog is here to share a little more than what makes it into the final poems.
